Introductions.
Greetings one and all;
A brief spit of information to give anyone reading this an idea of what I'm about.
1. Third generation artist-I've learned the old fashioned way; avoiding beatings while inspecting still wet oils, inks, acrylics and watercolors from the time I could reach the drafting tables.
2. I've been on hiatus for nearly a decade-just re-jump started my artwork in the past two. I have quite of bit to catch up on.
3. I am currently working on putting together a graphic novel, and hope to put it together into a cohesive work. Written, executed, drawn and (hopefully) self-published within the next year or so.
4. I'm near homicidal because of it.
5. I work in oils, charcoal, colored pencil, ink (both quill and pen), and play in oil pastel and acrylics. I do fantasy, horror, realism and whatever else comes to my mind. I work on portraits, animals, and landscapes. Calligraphy has been a hobby as well as photography for years.
6. I do have an associate degree in CAD and related sciences. It has not done me a bit of good since my graduation except to understand the ideas and underlying reasonings behind the programs that I've been exposed to. When I graduated, my class was already obsolete-there had been a new version of what we were training on three months before we finished. They declined in the idea of helping us out and giving it to us to work with.
7. ...Evidently, I need to narrow it down a bit. I do not have this kind of time!
